Musiqtone.com Bio: Alex began her Musiqtone.com career in the staff writers division, quickly making her presence known with a highly acclaimed concert review of the Chicago tour stop for German alt-rockers Tokio Hotel in 2008. She quickly made a resounding debut on The Hot Seat with an in-depth hot seater with pop/rockers Push Play in Chicago. She became a II Assistant Regional Head in late December after an internal audit done by the existing leadership at the outlet looking to expand its Leadership division.
Alex became the top lieutenant in the Midwest region, the new flagship region for Musiqtone.com on August 1, 2009. Before her ascension to the spot, she put forth hot seaters with The Cab, a much publicized one with emerging singer-songwriter Jimmy Robbins as well as pop star Mitchel Musso which now has made her one of the top and most sought after interviewers for Musiqtone.com. She has shown a flair as well for indie acts, getting Chicago alt-rockers The Frantic and Las Vegas pop/rockers The Cab. She is also one of the outlet's top and sought-after reviewers, penning reviews like the well-received Demi Lovato album review in 2009.
Just over a year later on August 8, 2011, Alex ascended to the top spot in the Midwest region, succeeding outgoing regional head Cristina Carrazza.
Personal Bio: Alexandra Zawada has surrounded her life with music ranging from John Mayer to Journey to Sugarland to Maroon 5 as well as her fathers musical influence for many years now. She tends to enjoy all genres of music, or at least is open to everything which brings about a lot of different and wonderful opportunities for her. She is now attending Columbia College Chicago where she is majoring in music business. She was focusing on the A & R department of the business, but because of all the knowledge she has gain in only the first few weeks of classes she is open to all career paths now and does not have a certain direction planned out in her mind.
