Musiqtone.com Bio: Jeni-Lynn came aboard Musiqtone.com in early 2006, making her one of the longest serving members of the outlet as well as only one of remaining three original wave of recruits left on Musiqtone.com. She immediately contributed to scouting acts for You Gotta Know and was the driving force for the now defunct Musiqtone Buzz newsletter. She is also one of the original driving forces into the then fledging outlet's first dip into the major labels, getting Teddy Geiger on the Hot Seat and introducing chief head Alan Ho to the Jonas Brothers, then on Columbia Records.
Currently, she serves as the number two as executive vice-head of Musiqtone.com, taking the position following the resignation of co-founder Peter Burke, who served the previous 4 years in a similar position.
She has conducted interviews with Everclear, Jonny Lives!, Kal Penn and most notedly, Isaac from Hanson. She has also since added regional head duties for the East Coast.
Personal Bio: Jeni was born July 1, 1982. She realized at a very early age that music was her calling. Besides learning to harness her voice at a young age, she learned to play many instruments. She began college as a vocal performance major but realized quickly she needed a change. She moved to Orlando, Florida where she had her first taste of working in the industry. Recently, she graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. When not working on assignments for Musiqtone she writes music, does graphic/web design, and goes to concerts whenever she gets the chance. She loves all kinds of music, but finds particular comfort in the sounds of an acoustic guitar. She currently spends her time away from Musiqtone working on a small accessories line that she created.
