Most 15 year olds worry about their junior year or even where they might go to college. They also worry about life in general, but for 15 year old Veronica Ballestrini, she knows exactly where she is going: music. By day she's your typical 15 year old living the high school life, but outside of that, she is aiming to become the next LeAnn Rimes in age when she broke in and the next Sara Evans with the kind of style and lyrics Veronica brings forward.
While she has mastered Sara's style of country, considered quite upbeat but traditional, Veronica has also proven she can tug at your heart and hit the spoul with her song 'Daddy,' a song that tells the story of a daughter whose father is fighting the war in Iraq. 'Daddy' is certainly a centerpiece in her repetoire.
Maybe someday, she'll get to perform that in front 20,000+ in a major arena or county fair. At 15, the potential is limitless and LerAnn Rimes is proof that 15 year olds can dream high and reach high. |
