Boston-area rockers Westland will be performing select dates on the latest iteration of punk rock summer camp, the 2011 Vans Warped Tour, where they will look to add to the 16,000 records they’ve already sold independently over the last two years.
Westland joins the Dzambo Stage on July 7 and will share the bill with Before Their Eyes, Ice Nine Kills, and Patent Pending, among others. Specific dates are listed below.
The Berklee School of Music-educated musicians have worked nonstop to win the hearts of new fans, putting over 90,000 miles on their van in under two years supporting their debut record, Don’t Take It Personal. “It’s such a rush for us meeting new fans and introducing them to our music,” explains singer Aaron Bonus.
Don’t Take It Personal was mixed by Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, Blink-182) and ESPN, MTV, E!, and Showtime have all featured songs from the album.
This spring, the band released the music video for “I’ll Pray for You,” premiered on music tastemaker Buzznet.com and appeared in Foot Locker, Champs, and Journeys stores nationwide. |
