By Alexandra Zawada-- I Assistant Regional Head, Midwest

If you are a female and love music, this band is the perfect one for you. Not only did Push Play come out with a killer album recently; they are also on their Midnight Romeo Tour, which is filled with romance and surprise. Every night on tour; CJ, Steve, Nick, and Derek choose a Midnight Juliet to serenade and spoil. Not only are they gentlemen, but they play a great show that will leave you wanting more. What more can a girl want?

Alex Zawada: How does it feel to have your album finally released?
Steve Scarola: The feeling is unreal.  This album has been an effort of ours for over a year so it feels great to finally get it out there.  We are all learning so much from the process as well.

AZ: What is your favorite song on the album and why?

SS: My favorite song is the first track "Watch it Burn".  I feel that it is a great first impression to the record and it is so much fun to play live.

AZ: Last time I talked with you, you were making sure to choose a record label carefully - why'd you choose Wind Up Records?

SS: We chose Wind Up Records for a number of different reasons.  Wind Up is notorious for being a rock label.  We feel that with their rock background, having them behind us will make us stand out from the other pop artists out there.  Most importantly Wind Up was passionate about our record and thats really all it comes down to.

AZ: How was the experience of having Emily Osment in your music video and visa versa?

SS: It was a great experience for everyone.  Emily is our label mate on Wind Up so it seemed like a no brainer to do back to back videos with her.

AZ: Everyone is loving the romantic theme of your tour - what has been your favorite memory from tour so far?
SS: So far the tour has been so fun, but I am really looking foreword to our halloween show in Madison, Wisconsin.  We are sharing the stage with one of my idols Third Eye Blind.  I have seen them 4
times live in the past, and it will be an honor to share the stage with them.

AZ: What is your favorite song to perform?

SS: I love playing the song Where I Belong.  That is the most personal song to me on the record so it means something to me when we bring the emotions tagged to that song on stage.

AZ: What's the best prank one of you has played while out on the road?
SS: Lets just say that I cannot go back to Denver airport because a certain band I play guitar for put feminine products in my luggage that needed to be removed by airport security.

AZ: Where is your dream place to perform?
SS: Madison Square Garden hands down.  Me and my friends have seen so many shows at MSG.  Each time I envisioned myself on that stage.

AZ: What was your reaction the first time you heard yourselves on the radio?
SS: I was actually with my girlfriend in the car and it was the first time hearing it for both of us.  Lets just say we almost got into an accident cause she freaked out.

AZ: Do you have any advice for people who aspire to be musicians?
SS: Just remember to always hold onto the foundation of what it means to be a musician.  The music.  To quote Bob Marley, "When the music hits you, you feel no pain."

AZ: Do you have anything to say to your fans here at Musiqtone?

SS: Thanks so much for all the support! Be sure to check us out on tour!
Comments: Leave feedback, discuss! Keep it clean also!
