Parisian pop-punkers Chunk! No, Captain Chunk have announced their first North American headlining tour today (Jan. 14) that begins this spring, with support from Handguns, State Champs and City Lights.
The tour (dubbed “The Pardon My French Tour”) is in support of of the French group’s debut album Something for Nothing and will also be their first US trek since opening for Woe, Is Me last fall. The tour begins March 11 in Salt Lake City and will hit places like Jacksonville, FL, Joliet, IL and wraps up April 5 in Denver.
"We are so stoked to play our first headline tour in the States! Also, this is gonna be our first pop-punk tour so we’re very excited to play in front of a new crowd," explains lead singer Bertrand Poncet in the press release. "We just want this tour to be a giant party every night, it’s gonna be just small venues with no barriers and cheap tickets. People can expect craziness, tons of stage dives, it’s gonna be wild!"
The group is also slated to release their sophomore album sometime in the late-spring! See the announcement video below the jump and tour itinerary.
