Kid Astray, the indie-pop band from Norway, is making big currents on the airwaves across the United States. The band is hitting the US airwaves strong – if you have Sirius XM radio, you’ve probably heard their new single, “The Mess.” It’s no wonder the song is played there so often – it’s super catchy and has a fun beat to it. You’ll be playing this one all summer long!
What’s most impressive about Kid Astray is that the band is all 18 or 19 years old. Benjamin Giørtz (lead vocals/piano), Elizabeth Wu (piano/percussion/vocals), Even Steine (guitar), Alex Meek (guitar), Håkon Carlin (bass) and Jakob Bechmann (drums/vocals) have got a good thing going with their new EP, “Easily Lead Astray.” They’re incredibly talented and have achieved a lot already – you can only wonder how far they’ll go if they keep this up.
You’ll enjoy Kid Astray if you like light, poppy, catchy songs that just make you want to dance. And who doesn’t love that?
You can listen to Kid Astray’s newest EP, “Easily Lead Astray” now, and remember to pick up a physical copy of the EP this July! Check out “The Mess” here: https://soundcloud.com/kid-astray/the-mess-1
