It’s official!  Gabe Saporta and company is back!  Cobra Starship, recently signed to Pete Wentz’s imprint DCD2 Records (still in the Fueled By Ramen family) has just released a new single today (Monday August 25) that will harken back to one of the heights of 90’s pop music and samples one of the decade’s biggest hits!

The single, “Never Been in Love” features yet another collab, this time with Icona Pop.  According to a press release:

“Never Been In Love” has a stadium-pop sound reminiscent of an earlier era. “I had been listening to a lot of early 90’s UK artists — Jesus Jones, EMF, George Michael,” explains Saporta, “It was a time when bands first started incorporating break beats and electronic elements into their music. I had been trying to find a way to modernize that sound.” When Wallpaper. had the idea to sample Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You,” Gabe knew they had hit the nail on the head. “I heard that piano break and I knew we had it.”
