Brandon Flowers releases new solo single, announces release of sophomore solo effort

While Vegas outfit the Killers remain on hiatus, frontman Brandon Flowers is not.  Flowers will release his sophomore solo effort, The Desired Effect on May 19. 2015.  The album is a follow-up to his successful solo debut and chart topper The Flamingo and sees Flowers team up with Ariel Rechtshaid (HAIM, Vampire Weekend).  The album is described as “his most sonically diverse and playful” and the first single from The Desired Effect is “Can’t Deny My Love,” now available on all digital platforms for streaming or purchase.  Brandon performed the song for the first time on television Monday night (March 23) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
