Simple Plan returns with new music in four years, set to release album later this year

For the first time in four years, Canadian pop-punkers Simple Plan unveil new music with highly anticipated single “Saturday.”  Produced by two-time GRAMMY nominee Howard Benson, “Saturday” heralds Simple Plan’s hugely anticipated new album, set for worldwide release later this year with further details to be announced soon.  This is also the first single from the aforementioned effort.

“We are extremely excited to finally release a new song for our fans!  After spending the last two years writing and recording, we cannot wait for them to hear the entire album new album and to start playing shows everywhere!” says Simple Plan’s Pierre Bouvier.

Following the single’s release, the group will hook on to a brief jaunt on the 2015 edition of Warped Tour for a week in late July, beginning the 19th in Holmdel, NJ.  They will also hit various festivals overseas such as Festivent à Lévi in their native Quebec, Canada and also England’s Reading/Leeds Festival.  In addition the group are among the big names performing at the 2nd annual Journeys Alternative Press Music Awards, fueled by Monster Energy Drink, set for July 22nd at Cleveland, OH’s Quicken Loans Arena.
