Little Mix announces new album, releases date; pre-orders set for August

Coming off massive success for new single “Black Magic,” which now is spinning on 60 terrestrial U.S. radio stations, debuting finally at no. 1 in their native U.K. and aiming for the longest no. 1 overall consecutive streak this year on The Countdown, Little Mix announced on July 16 via official press release that their brand new album Get Weird will be released globally on Friday November 6!   Pre-orders for Get Weird will be available beginning August 14.

The album is being described as encompassing “the past, the present and the future of girl band pop.”  It is also being described by the girls as “a celebration of being unique and not holding back.”

Finally, Little Mix will premiere live “Black Magic” on TEEN CHOICE 2015 Live Sunday, August 16 on FOX.  The girls are up for five Teen Choice Awards including Choice Music Breakout Artist.  They will also perform the hit single on late night television on the Late Late Show with James Corden on August 17 and then culminate this mini-TV tour August 19 with an outdoor show on NBC’s Today Show.  This date will also celebrate their four year anniversary as a group.
