In today’s music industry, going over a decade between new music, much less a new album can be considered a lifetime.  But not for Sting.

Sting, after over a decade between his signature pop/rock projects that have defined his solo career to legendary status, will be releasing a new album, titled 57th & 9th on November 11 via A&M/Interscope.  The album is now available for preorder (Google, iTunes, Amazon, Official Store, standard physical, deluxe physical, super deluxe, vinyl) and will feature a diverse variety of the styles that propelled even further into the musical stratosphere that he already had entered while frontman of The Police.  You got your signature ferocious imagery to a wild guitar-driven single and the big anthems that define the legend.

Even more impressive, 57th & 9th, according to a press release from the label was essentially an impulse of writing, singing, performing and recording was completed in a matter of a few weeks!  The album title is inspired by his daily walks to the studios in Hell’s Kitchen in New York where he regularly strolled by the corner of 57th & 9th.
