2012 is definitely shaping up to be a banner year for the unsigned, indie and those who leave the major labels to give the DIY approach the old college try! So 2012 should be very very good for this dance/pop-rock quartet from the capital of the United States of America! In comes a big Crash Boom Bang, otherwise known as vocalist Omar Ruiz, guitarist Chaucer, drummer Mauricio Rivero and sibling drummer Raul Rivero.
Their sound is described as “Bruno Mars meets Cobra Starship”, so expect a pop/rock sound shrouded in electronica beats, snappy songwriting and high energy. "Make no mistake, we’re no boy band," assures the group. "We all play instruments, write our own music and talk with our fans."
Decide for yourself as we premiere their debut music video “V.I.P.”, described as "the ultimate pump-up, pre-game anthem," says the band. The single can be heard on their debut EP titled These Wild Things, which is available now on iTunes.
